Indonesian North Sumatra State Islamic University visited Üsküdar

Professor Dr. Muhammed Habibi Siregar from the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Indonesia, and his Indonesian student visited Üsküdar University.

Professor Siregar met with the Director of International Relations, Emre Üçsular, Unit Assistant Özge Alacakoç, and Computer Engineering Assistant Professor Dr. Burcu Gürbüz. Üçsular provided Professor Siregar with information about Üsküdar University,

emphasizing the university's diversity of international students and staff. He expressed his pleasure at the prospect of welcoming Indonesian students to Üsküdar University in the future.

Professor Siregar gave a presentation about his university, UIN-SU, sharing important information about the Indonesian education system and planned investments in education.

The guests were presented with books by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan translated into English. Also present were

the Director of the Institute of Sufi Studies, Prof. Dr. Elif Erhan, Assistant Professor Dr. Omneya Ayad. The guests, accompanied by Gürbüz, gathered for lunch and then left the university after the meal.
